The WWSA is an experience designed to provide youth in South Central Los Angeles with exposure to scientific equipment, concepts, and activities once unavailable in our community. Youth are welcome to come explore, learn, and have fun building things like balloon rockets, simple electric motors, and even learning how to extract DNA from fruit! Our lessons cover various areas of biology, chemistry and physics to supplement what they should be learning in school. We are determined to bring out the scientist in any child in our community who wants it!
